What is GamePlan?

Designed to keep construction projects on task and on target, GamePlan is ConstructionOnline's fully automated and customizable task management reporting tool that compiles all activities assigned to a particular Contact or Resource into a single, personalized task list report. These task lists can be delivered at regular intervals to the designated Contact via email and/or mobile notification, and are also accessible through ConstructionOnline, the CO™ Mobile App, and the Project Portal. By streamlining communication through the intelligent automation of GamePlan task lists, company employees, subcontractors, vendors, and other construction team members know exactly what work needs to be done, where it needs to be done, and when it needs to be completed.

What is included on GamePlans?

GamePlan reports automatically pull from all Company & Project Calendars, Schedules, To Dos, Punch Lists, Checklists, and RFIs in ConstructionOnline to deliver a detailed plan of action to subs, suppliers, superintendents, and more. By referencing the Assigned Resource(s) on each activity, GamePlan uses data already populated to ConstructionOnline to empower teams to focus and prioritize effectively.

Can I customize what is included on GamePlans?

Yes! GamePlan reports are fully customizable for each Contact. Company Users have the ability to choose what ConstructionOnline items are included on the report, how frequently the GamePlan is sent, what day & time it's sent, the timeframe of activities included, and if activities are filtered by date or by project.

Since GamePlan settings can vary from one Contact to another, your project manager can receive a weekly list of responsibilities every Sunday at 5:00 pm while your subs might only receive a list every 4 weeks of tasks coming up in the next month.

Who can receive GamePlans?

GamePlans can be generated for any ConstructionOnline User in your system!

How many GamePlans can be set up per user?

Because GamePlans are designed to be a comprehensive task list report, only one GamePlan can be set up per user.

How often can I receive GamePlans?

GamePlans can be delivered Daily, Daily on Weekdays, Weekly, Every 2 Weeks, and Every 4 Weeks. You also have the ability to customize what week day & time the GamePlan is sent as well as the timeframe of activities included, among other customization options

What is the advantage of using GamePlans vs. Reminders?

Using ConstructionOnline as intended will generate dozens of email and mobile reminders every day for your employees, clients, subs, and anyone else on your project team. We typically find that, when this occurs, project team members may begin to ignore reminders which can cause delays and miscommunications. GamePlan allows you to provide your team members with a single, easily digestible report detailing their own personalized task list. With the ability to deliver this list at a customized frequency, you can make sure your team stays informed, not overwhelmed. Additionally, GamePlans include information for some ConstructionOnline features that do not currently have their own reminder system, such as RFIs.

Why am I not receiving GamePlan emails?

There are a couple of reasons why you may not be receiving GamePlan emails. First, ensure you have a GamePlan set up. Company Users can do this by navigating to the GamePlan feature and reviewing active Company GamePlans. ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ Users can do this by contacting their contractor. If you have confirmed your ConstructionOnline Contact has an active GamePlan but you still cannot locate your GamePlan emails, we recommend checking your email's spam or junk folders as sometimes email notifications can end up there.

In the rare instance that you still cannot locate your GamePlan emails, contact our Support Team for additional assistance. Be sure to indicate exactly which steps you’ve already tried so that we can better assist you.
