Print a To Do List

Generate custom, professional, print-ready documents detailing your construction tasks


As a part of ConstructionOnline's industry-leading tools for construction project management, construction companies can create, manage, and share custom, detailed construction task lists. In addition to sharing construction tasks directly within ConstructionOnline (by assigning Resources), ConstructionOnline Users can also generate a print-ready document of their construction task list—making it easy to share task lists with users who may not have a ConstructionOnline account, share the entire task list, or disseminate paper copies when preferred. 


  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
  2. Select the Project Tracking tab to automatically open the To Do Lists category.
  3. Within any View, locate the gray three-dot action menu at the top right-hand corner of the To Dos pane. 
  4. Click the gray three-dot action menu and choose the "Print To Dos" option.
  5. Within the "Print To Dos" window, choose from the following details to customize the printed To Do List - 
    1. Within the Print To Dos tab:
      1. Select Project: Choose the Project that contains the To Do List you wish to print. 
        1. The current Project is selected by default. 
      2. Date Range
        1. Date Type: Choose to order by Due Date or Date Completed 
        2. Date Range:
          1. Select one of the preloaded Date Ranges from the Date Range dropdown menu. Preloaded options include: Custom, Today, Yesterday, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, This Month, Last Month, Last Year, Year to Date, and All. 


          2. Choose the "Custom" option from the Date Range dropdown menu and select a custom date range by either typing the desired dates into the Start Date and End Date fields or selecting the desired dates from the calendars below.
            1. Dates selected from the calendars will automatically populate to the Start Date and End Date fields. 
      3. To Do List Options: Choose from other customization options by selecting or deselecting the ☑️ check mark beside the corresponding option. Options include:

        ⬜ Include Completed To Dos
        ☑️ Order To dos by the Earliest Due Date First 
        ⬜ Only include To Dos with assigned/related contacts (that are selected within the field below) 

      4. To Do List Filters: Choose the values below to filter the list by 


    2. Within the Header & Footer tab:
      1. Default Header & Footer Settings will apply for companies with Basic, Pro, or Team Plans. 
      2. Companies with Business or Enterprise Plans can choose to apply custom Header & Footer sets to the document.
        1. Headers & Footers are managed at the Company level. 
        2. To manage Header & Footer sets, click on the Manage Header & Footer Sets hyperlinked text.
  6. Once you've finalized the desired details, click the blue "Create" button. 
    1. The To Do List will open in a new browser tab for you to Share (via email), Save (to ConstructionOnline Files), Download (as PDF), Edit (in built-in text editor), or Print.



  • Working with To Dos that are not assigned to a Project? All Company To Dos can be accessed from Company Overview > Project Tracking > To Do Lists.
  • Only one To Do List can be printed at a time.
  • Permissions: ConstructionOnline Company Users with "Can View" or "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" To Do Lists permissions can print To Do Lists. 
  • ClientLink™/TeamLink™ Access: In addition to global ClientLink/TeamLink permissions, ClientLink and TeamLink Users must be added as an Assigned or Related Resource to print To Dos.
    • However, please note, ClientLink and TeamLink Users will only be able to print To Dos they are an Assigned or Related Resource on.
  • CO™ Mobile App: To Do Lists can be printed exclusively through browser access to ConstructionOnline.
    • To Do Lists cannot be printed via the CO Mobile App.
