Edit a Punch List

Modify the details of an existing Punch List in ConstructionOnline™

BACKGROUND

As the leading construction management software, ConstructionOnline™ equips construction companies with powerful tools to add structure and detail to their quality control needs.

With ConstructionOnline's Punch List management, users can quickly create, document, photograph, and assign construction Punch List tasks from the office or jobsite. In the event that Punch List details need to be edited after creation, ConstructionOnline™ also provides flexible options for easy modification.

VIDEO WALKTHROUGH 

STEPS TO EDIT A PUNCH LIST

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
  2. Select the Project Tracking tab and choose the Punch Lists category.
  3. Right-click on the Punch List you wish to edit and choose "Edit Punch List" from the dropdown menu. 
    1. If the Punch List is stored within a Folder, drill down to the specific Punch List by clicking on & opening the relevant Folder(s).
  4. Within the Edit Punch List window, make your desired modifications to the Punch List's details. 
    1. Modifiable fields include: Punch List Name, Room/Location, Punch List Editor(s), and Punch List Viewer(s). 
    2. The Punch List Creator field cannot be modified. 
  5. Finalize your edits by clicking the blue "Save Changes" button.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Permissions: ConstructionOnline™ Company Users must have Punch Lists permissions set to "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" to edit Punch List details. 
    • ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ Users cannot make edits to Punch List details; however, depending on their Punch Lists permissions and assigned roles, they may be able to "see Punch Lists they're assigned a Viewer on, make changes to Punch Lists they're assigned an Editor on, and make changes to Punch List Items they're an Assigned Resource on." 
  • Mobile App: Edits can be made to Punch Lists from the CO™ Mobile App.
