Add Resources to an Estimate

OBJECTIVE

To add Resources to Items in a 3-Level Estimate or Subcategories in a 2-Level Estimate.

BACKGROUND

ConstructionOnline provides the most powerful cloud-based estimating in the industry, giving users the ability to manage their project financials from proposal generation through final invoicing.

STEPS TO ADD RESOURCES TO AN ESTIMATE

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar
  2. Select the Financials tab
     
    1. This will automatically open to the Estimating category
  3. Locate the Resource column in the Estimate
     
    1. If the Resource column is hidden, you can choose to show the column
  4. Click on the desired cell in the Resource column
    1. This will open the Item Details window
  5. Begin typing the Resource's name in the Resource field
  6. Choose the Resource from the dropdown menu
  7. Click Save
