Edit Order/Delivery Status for Selection Choices

Update the Order & Delivery Dates and/or Status for new home selections in ConstructionOnline™


Designed to empower team communication, improve client satisfaction, and avoid budget overages & project delays, ConstructionOnline™ offers construction companies industry-leading software solutions that streamline the new home selections process. ConstructionOnline™ selection sheets are organized at three levels: the Category level, the Selection level, and the Selection Choice level. Once Selection Choices—the most granular level of detail and organization—are "Approved," Company Employees can continue to keep selection information up-to-date within ConstructionOnline™ by updating the Order/Delivery Dates and Status for selection items and materials. 



  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
  2. Select the Financials tab and choose the Client Selections category.
  3. Scroll down to the Selection Details pane and find the "Approved" Selection Choice you wish to edit the Order/Delivery Dates and/or Status of.
  4. Right-click on the desired Selection Choice and choose "Edit Selection Choice" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Within the "Edit" window, choose the Order/Delivery Status secondary tab from the Details tab. 
    1. Please note that this option will only be available for Selection Choices that have been marked as "Approved." 
  6. Within the Order/Delivery Status secondary tab, manage the following options: 
    1. Selection Choice Order/Delivery Dates
      1. Choose to designate whether: 
        1. Items and/or materials for the selected choice have been ordered
          1. If this option is selected, you may enter values within the "Date Ordered" and "Date Expected" fields. 
        2. Items and/or materials for the selected choice have been delivered.
          1. If this option is selected, you may enter values within the "Date Delivered" field. 
    2. Selection Choice Order/Delivery Status - Select the Order/Delivery Status that best represents the state of the order/delivery process for the selection choice's items and/or materials.
      1. The Units that appear within the Order Status dropdown menu may be customized by clicking the gear icon. gearicon 
  7. Finalize the Selection Choice's Order/Delivery Status details by clicking the blue "Save" button. 
    1. The Status will display as "Ordered" or "Delivered" within the top right corner of the Selection Choice card. 


ConstructionOnline™ Company Users can also update the Order/Delivery Status of Selection Choices through the Selections Summary table

  • Ordered, Expected, and Delivered Dates as well as the Order/Delivery Status of Selection Choice item(s) can be updated within the Selections Summary table by clicking into the respective cell and making the desired edits. 
  • Clicking into cells within the Ordered, Expected, or Delivered columns will populate a calendar date picker which you can select the appropriate date from. 
    • A date must be selected in the Ordered column before the option to add a date in the Expected column will be available.
  • The Order/Delivery Status of Selection Choice item(s) can be designated by clicking into the Order/Delivery Status column and choosing the desired unit from the dropdown menu. 


  • Order/Delivery Status can only be updated at the Selection Choice level––not the Category or Selection levels. More information about the different Client Selections levels can be found in Overview: What are Client Selections?
  • Permissions: Only ConstructionOnline™ Company Users with “Can Create, Edit, & Delete” permissions can edit Selection Choice details, including Order/Delivery Status.
    • ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ Users cannot edit the Order/Delivery Status of Selection Choices. However, depending on their ClientLink™ / TeamLink™ Permissions
      • ClientLink™ Users who have Client Selections permissions set to "Show Ordered / Delivered information for Selection Choices" will be able to view Order/Delivery Status.
      • TeamLink™ Users who are assigned as a Recommended Vendor to the Selection Choice will be able to view Order/Delivery Status as well. 
      • ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ Users with the permissions stated above can view Order/Delivery Status updates within the Selections Summary table and by clicking into the Selection Choice card. 
  • Mobile App: The Order/Delivery Status of Selection Choices can be updated exclusively through browser access to ConstructionOnline™.
