Edit or delete custom reminder settings for ConstructionOnline™ To Dos
BACKGROUND
Designed to empower construction teams to efficiently communicate deadlines, assign responsibilities, and define priorities, ConstructionOnline's To Do Lists tool offers powerful, yet easy-to-use solutions for creating and managing construction tasks. One way ConstructionOnline promotes this efficiency is through the ability to set custom reminders for To Dos, ensuring team members stay on track and are promptly notified of task assignments, updates, and deadlines. To ensure optimal flexibility, ConstructionOnline Company Users have the ability to edit or delete their To Do reminder settings as needed.
STEPS TO MANAGE TO DO REMINDERS
- Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
- Select the Project Tracking tab to automatically open the To Do Lists category.
- Within the To Dos pane in any View, locate the desired To Do.
- Right-click on the To Do, and select the "Set Reminder" option.
- This will automatically open the Reminders tab within the To Do blade extension where you will see the current Reminder Settings you have set. From here you can -
- Edit your current Reminder Settings:
- Send Reminder: Change the frequency (Once, Daily, Daily on Weekdays, or Weekly), date, and time the Reminder is sent until the task is marked as complete.
- Message: Enter, edit, or remove the optional message in the text box.
- Send Reminder via: Change how the Reminder is sent—via Email, Text Message, or both Email & Text Message—by marking/unmarking the checkbox ☑️ next to the desired option(s).
- At lease one mode of delivery is required.
- To receive a Text Message Reminder, the Resource's Private Contact Details must include a Phone Number AND Mobile Provider.
- Delete your current Reminder Settings by clicking the ❌ Delete Reminder button.
- Edit your current Reminder Settings:
- Once you've finalized your actions, click the blue "Save" button.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Working with To Dos that are not assigned to a Project? All Company To Dos can be accessed from Company Overview > Project Tracking > To Do Lists.

- Permissions: ConstructionOnline Company Users must have "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" To Do Lists permissions to be able to manage To Do Reminders.
- Additionally, any Company User added as an Assigned Resource to a To Do can manage Reminders for that To Do, despite their To Do Lists permissions.
- ClientLink™/TeamLink™ Access: ClientLink and TeamLink Users cannot set or manage Reminders for To Dos; however, in addition to global ClientLink/TeamLink permissions, if they are added as an Assigned or Related Resource, ClientLink and TeamLink Users can view any active Reminders for the To Do(s) they're assigned to.
- CO™ Mobile App: To Do Reminders can be enabled and modified via the CO Mobile App.
