Delete a To Do

Remove To Dos from your task lists in ConstructionOnline™

BACKGROUND

Home to the industry's leading project tracking software, ConstructionOnline offers offers construction pros the tools to create & manage detailed, online construction task lists that are guaranteed to streamline communication and increase project efficiency. Because construction projects always have many moving parts, ConstructionOnline provides simple, user-friendly options for users needing to quickly & easily edit and, when necessary, remove To Dos that no longer serve their needs.

STEPS TO DELETE A TO DO

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
  2. Select the Project Tracking tab to automatically open the To Do Lists category.
  3. Within the To Dos pane in any View, locate the desired To Do.
  4. Right-click on the To Do, and select the "Delete" option. 
    1. Please note: Deleting a To Do also deletes all of its respective Subtasks.
  5. Confirm you want to delete the selected To Do by clicking the "Delete To Do" button.
    1. The To Do (and any respective Subtasks) will be removed from your To Do List can cannot be recovered.

👋 Helpful Hint 

Need to delete more than one To Do? Streamline your task management and save valuable time by deleting multiple To Dos with efficient bulk actions. The bulk delete action can be performed by holding down the Ctrl or Command key on your device, selecting the desired tasks, and then choosing the "Delete" option. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Working with To Dos that are not assigned to a Project? All Company To Dos can be accessed from Company Overview > Project Tracking > To Do Lists.
  • To Dos and their respective Subtasks deleted from ConstructionOnline cannot be recovered. 
  • Looking to delete a Subtask? More information on removing Subtasks can be found here. 
  • Permissions: ConstructionOnline Company Users must have "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" To Do Lists permissions in order to delete To Dos. 
  • ClientLink™/TeamLink™ Access: In addition to global ClientLink/TeamLink permissions, ClientLink and TeamLink Users must be added as an Assigned Resource in order to delete To Dos.
  • CO™ Mobile App: To Dos can be deleted from the CO Mobile App.
