Define what "visually-pleasing" means to you by adjusting the size or density of To Do Cards in Board View
BACKGROUND
Mimicking the familiar concept of sticky notes, ConstructionOnline's To Do Board View presents construction tasks and their details on "cards" that can be moved seamlessly between different stages or categories of work, or managed individually within their respective columns. Board View not only offers a visually engaging way for construction pros to manage their tasks, but also offers extensive customization options so that users can personalize their interface to fit their specific workflow needs or preferences. Among the ability to adjust To Do card layouts, column width, and color theming options, ConstructionOnline™ also provides the ability to define the size or density of their To Do cards with three preset options, further enhancing a tailored task management experience.

STEPS TO ADJUST CARD DENSITY IN BOARD VIEW
- Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
- Select the Project Tracking tab to automatically open the To Do Lists category.
- Ensure you are viewing your To Dos in the Board View, then click on the grey three-dot action menu located in the top right corner of the To Dos pane.
- Hover over the "Card Density" option to reveal the three density options:
- Expanded - Ideal for emphasizing each card's content individually, the Expanded option displays all To Do details that have been selected via the Card Layout options, including any attachments, an extended view of any related Subtasks, and the full length of the To Do's Description.
- Standard - Striking the middle ground between Expanded and Compressed options, the Standard option displays all To Do details that have been selected via the Card Layout with an expandable option to view and add Subtasks and a partially visible Description, depending on length.
- Compressed - Designed to maximize the number of tasks visible on the screen, the Compressed option is great for efficiently viewing large datasets as it exclusively displays the Subject, Completion Icon, and Date related to each To Do. However, to provide a balance between density and detailed exploration, To Do cards can be expanded or revealed in more detail when hovered over.
- Click on the desired Card Density option. ConstructionOnline will automatically update your To Do Cards in Board View to reflect the density option selected.
