Share a Folder or an Album with project stakeholders through their own ConstructionOnline™ Portal.
BACKGROUND
ConstructionOnline's industry-leading construction management tools provide a central place for all project stakeholders to keep track of project data. Clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other external resources can use ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ portals in ConstructionOnline to stay connected to their active projects. By sharing project Albums or Folders through ConstructionOnline’s convenient portals, builders can provide clients and subcontractors access to project Photos and Files in real time.
THINGS TO CONSIDER

Within a Project, managing Folders & Albums (sharing, copying, moving, etc.) should be done through the Files tab. The Photos tab is exclusively for editing and quickly viewing photos through the Photostream.

Sharing an Album/Folder means any new File or Image added to it will be visible in the Portal. To send an exact copy of the current Album/Folder that will not continually update when new Files & Images are added, Copy Albums/Folders to the Portal.

Only Project Folders, Albums, Files, and Images can be shared or copied to the Portal(s).
STEPS TO SHARE ALBUMS/FOLDERS TO THE PORTAL

Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.

Select the Files tab to access all Project Files.

Right-click on the Album or Folder to open the dropdown menu.

Choose Options to access available sharing methods.

Select which Portal(s) the Folder or Album will be shared with. The ClientLink and TeamLink sharing options can be multi-selected at this stage if desired.

The option to make a Folder or Album private is also available here.

Click the blue "Save" button to confirm the selected option(s).
🗒️Note:
Albums and Folders that have been shared to the ClientLink and/or TeamLink Portal can be identified by the "Shared With" badges.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To share a single File or Photo to the Portal, ConstructionOnline users should copy the specific File or Photo to the desired Portal(s).

Permissions: Company Employees must have their permissions set to "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" for Files and Photos to be able to share Folders and Albums with ClientLink and TeamLink portals.

ClientLink™/TeamLink™ Access: In ClientLink/TeamLink Settings, the Photos option must be selected for ClientLink and TeamLink users to access shared Albums, and the Files option must be selected for ClientLink and TeamLink users to access shared Folders.

CO™ Mobile App: Folders and Albums can only be shared through browser access to ConstructionOnline. However, ClientLink and TeamLink users can access any Folders and Albums that have been shared with them via ConstructionOnline Mobile.
