Add a Company User to a Project

OBJECTIVE

To add a Company User to a Project in ConstructionOnline

BACKGROUND

Projects are central to just about everything you will do in ConstructionOnline. They function as the very hubs of your information, and house critical data such as estimates, schedules, files, and more.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Only Company Administrators can add users to Project Teams
  • Individual Project permissions can be granted to Company Users

STEPS TO ADD A COMPANY USER TO A PROJECT

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar
  2. Select the Team tab
  3. Click the green +Add Contact from your Company button
    1. This will open the Add Contact(s) to Project window with Company Users
  4. Select the users you wish to add to the Project
    1. If the user is not yet a ConstructionOnline contact , you will have to Add Company User
  5. Click Save
    1. This will open the Custom Project Permissions window
  6. You can choose to set Project specific permissions for this user
    1. Uncheck the Apply company permission settings if you wish to make changes
  7. Click Save
