Using Redline Takeoff Calibrator

OBJECTIVE

To set the Redline Takeoff Calibrator

BACKGROUND

Redline is one of the most powerful tools offered in ConstructionOnline. With Redline, users have the ability to annotate and markup plans, sheets, images and other files within their projects.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

• Company users must have a license to access Redline Takeoff.
• Review the Redline Sheet Requirements to ensure your plans are scanned correctly.

STEPS TO USE THE TAKEOFF CALIBRATOR

1. Navigate to the desired project via the Left Sidebar 
2. Select the Takeoff category 
3. Open the Sheet you wish to start Takeoff on
4. Start the Takeoff:
   1. Existing Estimate - HYPERLINK
   2. Template - HYPERLINK
   3. Something - HYPERLINK
5. The Set Calibration for this Sheet window will open
   
6. Click the green Set Sheet Calibration button
7. Using your mouse, set the Calibration 
   1. Once you release the mouse, the Calibration Details will open in the right sidebar
   
8. Select the Measurement from the dropdown menu then enter the Calibration
9. Click the green Next Step button
10. Begin measuring your Takeoff
