Using Redline Planroom Calibrator

OBJECTIVE

To learn about the Redline Calibrator

BACKGROUND

Redline is one of the most powerful tools offered in ConstructionOnline. With Redline, users have the ability to annotate and markup plans, sheets, images and other files within their projects.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

• Company users must have permissions to access Redline Planroom.
• Enable the Redline Planroom settings for ClientLink and TeamLink users to view shared folders and plans.
• Review the Redline Sheet Requirements to ensure your plans are scanned correctly.

STEPS TO USE THE REDLINE CALIBRATOR

1. Navigate to the desired project via the Left Sidebar 
2. Select the Redline Planroom category 
3. Open the Sheet you wish to edit 
4. Locate the Measurement Tool along the Left Side Bar 
   1. This will be the 5th icon from the top 
5. Choose the Calibration Tool 
   1. This will be the first option on the flyout menu
6. Click and Drag to draw your calibration line 
7. After you release the click a black flyout will appear for you to enter in the length of the line
8. Once the Calibration Tool is on the drawing you will not be able to add another one, if you need to edit it simply click on the calibrated line to trigger the black flyout again
