Pin Existing Items to Redline Sheets
OBJECTIVE
To Pin Existing Items to Redline Sheets
BACKGROUND
Redline is one of the most powerful tools offered in ConstructionOnline. With Redline, users have the ability to annotate and markup plans, drawings, images and other files in projects. Pinning existing items to Redline Sheets allows you to have more relevant Sheets with a few simple clicks.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Company users must have permissions to access Redline Planroom.
- Enable the Redline Planroom settings for ClientLink and TeamLink users to view shared folders and plans.
- Review the Redline Sheet Requirements to ensure your plans are scanned correctly.
STEPS TO PIN EXISTING ITEMS TO REDLINE SHEETS
- Navigate to the desired project via the Left Sidebar
- Select the Redline Planroom tab
- Open the Sheet you wish to edit
- Locate the Right Toolbar
- The Right Toolbar holds all existing items created in the Project
- On the flyout menu, choose the icon correlating with the tab of your desired item

Hover over the tab and select the desired Category

Click and Drag the Pin to the Sheet

Once you release the click, the pinned Icon will appear on the Sheet
