FAQ: To Dos

How do I link a To Do to a Schedule Task or Group?

Company and/or Project To Dos can be linked to OnPlan Schedule Groups or Tasks through the "Linked Items" tab within a To Do or Schedule Task's Details.

To link items from a To Do, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the specific To Do. 
    1. If it is a Project To Do, go to the specific Project > Project Tracking > To Do Lists.
    2. If it is a Company To Do, go to Company Overview > Project Tracking > To Do Lists
  2. Right-click the To Do and select the option "Edit To Do". 
  3. Then, select the "Linked Items" tab within the To Do Details window.
  4. Click the green (+) Link to Schedule Task button. This will open the "Link Schedule Groups or Tasks" window, which will automatically load the Schedule for the current Project. 
    1. If linking a Company To Do, the window will automatically load the first Schedule on your Schedule list. 
  5. Locate the Schedule Task or Group you want to link the To Do to, then click its link icon linked icon
  6. Continue selecting any additional Tasks or Groups you want to link to the To Do, then select the blue "Save" button. 
  7. Click the secondary blue "Save" button to finalize your new changes.
