- Choose between the following two settings to determine the keyboard shortcut you would like to use to separate Subject & Description text when entered in the To Do column:
- Enter a Hyphen to Separate Subject & Description Text
- Press Alt-Hyphen (PC) or Option-Hyphen (Mac) to Separate Subject & Description Text
- Once you have chosen the desired setting, click the blue "Save" button to finalize the keyboard shortcut.
👋Helpful Hint
In order to seamlessly differentiate between Subject and Description text when using the first Subject and Description Text setting option (i.e. "Enter a hyphen to Separate Subject & Description Text), a space must be placed before and after the hyphen is entered. So, for example, when entering Subject & Description text it should look like this "Schedule vendor for cleanup - Call George". Notice the space before and after the hyphen; this indicates to the system that you are using the hyphen as the keyboard shortcut and not a part of the To Do's text itself.
