Duplicate a Project

OBJECTIVE

To duplicate a Project in ConstructionOnline™

BACKGROUND

ConstructionOnline™ is expertly engineered to help construction companies streamline project management through the execution of scalable, repeatable processes. Duplicating an existing project saves valuable time during initial project setup by using an existing project to instantly generate the project's Scope of Work, Estimate, Schedule, Selections, To Dos, Checklists, and more.  

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • All Company Users have the ability to create new Company Projects by duplicating Projects Set to Live.
    • Company Admins and Project Creators can create new Company Projects by duplicating Projects Set to Pending.
    • If you are unsure if a Project is Set to Pending or Live, the Project Status can be Set/Edited from the Edit Project Details.
  • Projects can only be duplicated to new projects through ConstructionOnline™. Projects can not be duplicated via CO™ Mobile.

STEPS TO DUPLICATE A PROJECT

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar
  2. Click the Project Name in the top-center of the page
  3. Select Duplicate Project from the dropdown menu
     
    1. This will open the Duplicate Project Window
  4. Insert a Name for the Project and choose the information you wish to duplicate
  5. Click Create
    1. Once created, the duplicate project will open automatically
