Refine your "Leads" List in ConstructionOnline™
BACKGROUND
Effectively managing your potential clients (Leads) demands organization and clear focus. That's why ConstructionOnline has built twelve powerful Filter options, designed to make finding the specific information you need easy and effortless. These filters empower you to quickly navigate your Lead Pipeline and stay on top of your prospects.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
⚠️ Important: Filters applied to your Lead Pipeline are user-specific and do not affect other team members' views.
- ConstructionOnline, by default, sets each Filter category to display "All."
- Within ConstructionOnline, any field that shows the gear icon
is a Custom Value, allowing users to add, edit, or remove categories. These fields can be customized by clicking on the icon.
BEST PRACTICE RECOMMENDATION
We strongly recommend using ConstructionOnline's Filters to optimize your Lead Pipeline. You can keep your focus exactly where it needs to be by leveraging the Custom Value fields. Aligning these fields with your sales process makes filtering significantly more effective.
HOW TO FILTER LEADS
- Access the "Sales Management" tab through the Left Sidebar or the Company Selector in the Top Navigation Bar.
- Under the "Lead Tracking" section, select "Lead Pipeline."
- Click on the gray Filters arrow to expand the Filters feature in the "Leads" List.

- Choose to filter your Leads by -
- Date: Choose the "Date Type," "Date Range," "Start Date," and "End Date" used to filter the permits.
- Stage: Display Leads based on their current stage in your sales process.
- Status: Show Leads of a certain status.
- Source: Filter Leads by how they were acquired.
- Type: Categorize Leads by their specific nature or classification.
- Sales Representative: View Leads assigned to a particular sales team member.
- Quality: Filter Leads based on their assessed quality or potential.
- Probability: Display Leads by their likelihood of conversion.
- Related Opportunity: Filter Leads associated with a specific Opportunity.
- Office: View Leads belonging to a particular office location.
- Division: Filter Leads by their assigned division.
- Region: Show Leads from a designated geographical region.
To clear established Lead Filters, you can -
- Select the X next to the specific Filter category you want to revert back to "All."
- Use the blue "Clear Filters" text next to the ❌ to reset the "Leads" List to the default filters of "All" for each category.
TIPS & TRICKS
- To change the order in which your Leads appear in the Lead Pipeline, view Sort Leads.
- Right-click on any column header in the dynamic table and select the "Show / Hide Columns" option to choose which columns will show in the table and in what order.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Permissions: Admin Users and Company Users with "Can View" or "Create, Edit, & Delete" permissions for Lead Tracking can filter Leads.
- Subscription Level: ConstructionOnline's Sales & CRM Tools are available for companies with current ConstructionOnline subscriptions at Pro, Team, Business, and Enterprise levels.
- Sales Management is also available as a Per-Company Add-On for all other plans.
- CO™ Mobile App: The Leads feature is available via the mobile app, which allows users with the appropriate permissions to filter Leads. However, users have limited filtering capabilities from within the app.
