Can I reorganize my Costbook items?
Folders, Subfolders, and Items can be moved within Costbooks by right-clicking on the desired item and selecting "Move [Folder/Item]". However, please note that this option only moves Folders and Items one at a time. Additionally, Folders can only be moved into other Folders, and Items can only be moved from one Folder to another. Costbook Folders and Items cannot be numerically re-ordered in ConstructionOnline using this option; they are always organized in ConstructionOnline by the order in which they were added to the Costbook or Folder.
If you wish to re-order Costbook Items within a Folder and/or re-order multiple Items at one time, we recommend exporting your Costbook to Excel, making any desired changes within the Excel document, and then re-importing the Costbook back into ConstructionOnline. There is no way to numerically re-order Folders within a ConstructionOnline Costbook.
