Upload Files
OBJECTIVE
To upload a File to ConstructionOnline.
BACKGROUND
File management is critical for any business. With ConstructionOnline, this task is made exponentially easier, allowing you to keep your entire team up to speed and on track. It is of utmost importance that a project has proper documentation, as documents provide critical evidence that could prevent potential litigation. Documentation is essential to project management.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Users can upload files from COL Proper and CO Mobile.
- Uploaded files will show up in your project files. From there you can move your files to a folder by clicking on the 3 dots to the right of the file name [insert screenshot here] and selecting the folder you wish to move the file to.
- Files can be uploaded offline to be accessible while in the field.
- There is no limit to the number of files that can be uploaded.
STEPS TO UPLOAD A FILE
- Navigate to Company Files, My Files, or a Project via the Left Sidebar
- Select the Files tab if you're in a Project
- Click the green +Add New button
- Select New Upload from the dropdown menu
- This will open the Upload Files window
- Choose where to upload your File from, or drag and drop it into the window
- This window will automatically close once the upload is complete
