Edit a warranty issue's appointment details
BACKGROUND
ConstructionOnline™ simplifies service appointment management by enabling Company Users to seamlessly edit existing service appointments. From rescheduling due to weather delays to updating service notes based on new information, Users can easily modify aspects of a scheduled appointment. These updates are instantly reflected, keeping everyone informed and on the same page, avoiding costly miscommunications and maximizing client satisfaction.
STEPS TO MANAGE SERVICE APPOINTMENTS
- Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
- Locate and select the "Warranty Tracking" tab.
- If you have chosen to have Warranty Tracking appear as a Project Quick Link, you may also access the Warranty Tracking feature from the Project's "Overview" tab.
- If you have not yet completed the Project’s initial Warranty Tracking setup sequence, you will be prompted to do so by clicking on the green “Create a New Warranty” button.
- Within the "Warranty Tracking" tab, click on Appointments in the "Warranty Tracking Categories" column.
- You must walk through the Project's initial Warranty Tracking setup sequence before gaining access to ConstructionOnline's "Appointments" feature.
- Click on the desired Appointment from within the “Appointments” section.
- This will open up the associated warranty issue’s extension blade on the right side of your screen where you can edit appointment details including -
- Arrival Window Status: modify the appointment’s confirmation status.
- ConstructionOnline populates the options of “Pending,” “Accepted,” and “Cancelled.”
- Client Notifications: check or uncheck the box to alter the email notification for client(s).
- Arrival Window Status: modify the appointment’s confirmation status.
- Select the blue “Appointment Actions” dropdown and choose from -
- Edit Appointment
- For more information about the fields included in the appointment's "Details" tab, check out "Schedule a Service Appointment."
- Create a Follow Up Appointment
- Delete Appointment
- There is no verification alert following deletion. If an appointment is deleted, it cannot be restored.
- Edit Appointment
- Hit the blue "Save" button to update the service appointment's information.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Alternative Access Point: An Appointment may also be edited from within the “Warranty Tracking” tab of the Company Overview.
- You can also edit an appointment by clicking on an issue to edit it within the "Warranty Issues" tab of the "Warranty Tracking Categories" column.
- Subscription Level: ConstructionOnline's Warranty Tracking feature is available for companies with current ConstructionOnline subscriptions at Team, Business, and Enterprise levels.
- Warranty Tracking is also available as a Per-Company Add-On for all other plans.
- Permissions: Admin Users and Company Users with "Can Create & Edit" or “Can Create, Edit, & Delete” permissions for Warranty Tracking can edit an appointment.
- Company Users with these permissions can only edit appointments for warranty issues of projects that they are a team member on.
- CO™ Mobile App: Currently, Warranty Tracking features are exclusively available via browser access to ConstructionOnline.
