How can I export a Costbook from ConstructionOnline?
Company Costbooks can be exported using the following instructions:
- Navigate to the Company Dropdown Menu located in the top right corner of ConstructionOnline.
- Within the Financial Settings category, choose "Company Costbooks".
- Within the Costbooks pane, right-click on the desired Costbook and choose the option to "Export to Excel".
- This will open the "Export Costbook" window where you can choose from the following options:
- Choose Filters to Apply to the Export
- Filter by Classification
- "All Classifications" is selected by default.
- Filter by Purchase Units
- "All Purchase Units" is selected by default.
- Filter by Resource
- "All Resources" is selected by default.
- Filter by Classification
- Choose Columns to Include in the Export

- Choose Filters to Apply to the Export
- Once you have finalized the export's details, click the blue "Export" button to initiate the creation of the external Excel file.
- Upon completion, the exported Excel file will be available in the Downloads section of the web browser in use. This file can be adjusted in Excel and imported back into ConstructionOnline.
