Export RFIs to Excel

OBJECTIVE

To export RFIs from ConstructionOnline to Excel.

BACKGROUND

Exporting RFIs to an Excel spreadsheet allows you to generate a summary of a Project's RFIs that can be saved or emailed to non-ConstructionOnline users.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • RFIs must be associated with an existing project.
  • RFIs can be shared with TeamLink & ClientLink members
  • RFIs can be accessed and responded to via email

STEPS TO EXPORT RFIs to EXCEL

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar
  2. Select the Communication tab
  3. Choose the Request for Information category
  4. Click the gray 3-Dot Action Menu at the top right of the RFIs pane
  5. Select Export to Excel
    1. The Excel file will automatically download

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Need to make some changes to an RFI? RFIs can be edited at a later time, regardless of status.
  • An RFI may be e-mailed at a later time, even if “Create & Send Emails” is not initially selected.
  • RFIs can be printed individually.
