Email a Submittal

OBJECTIVE

To email a Submittal in ConstructionOnline

BACKGROUND

Submittals are a great tool to use for documentation of approval for specifications, shop drawings, product information, and/or materials samples. Editors of a submittal can choose to send or resend Submittal emails after the Submittal has already been created.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Only Company Employees can create Submittals.
  • Submittals must be associated with an existing Project.
  • Submittals can be shared with TeamLink & ClientLink members to view and respond to.

STEPS TO EDIT A SUBMITTAL

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar
  2. Select the Communication tab
  3. Choose the Submittals category
  4. Right-click on the desired Submittal
  5. Select Email Submittal
    1. This will open the Email Submittal window
  6. Enter or choose the email recipients from the dropdown list
  7. Click Email Submittal
