Download a Project File/Photo

Quickly download a single file or photo from a Company Project.

OBJECTIVE

To download an individual Project File or Photo from ConstructionOnline. 

BACKGROUND

ConstructionOnline offers industry-leading cloud file management tools that provide construction companies with direct access to projects documents the second they are required. When project documents need to be downloaded for offline use, ConstructionOnline provides easy download options for project files and photos—saving valuable time for you and your entire project team.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Files and Photos can be downloaded from individual Company Projects, Company Files, and My Files.
  • Files/Photos will be directly downloaded to the Downloads folder on your device. 
  • Individual Files/Photos can also be downloaded via the ConstructionOnline Mobile App. 

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD A FILE/PHOTO

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar.
  2. Select the Files OR Photos tab.

    1. Both Files and Photos can be downloaded from the Files tab. Only Photos can be downloaded from the Photos tab.
  3. Select the corresponding category where the File/Photo is located.
    1. Files tab
      1. All Files: all Files/Photos for the Project are located here. Files/Photos 
      2. Recent Files: Files/Photos recently added to the Project are located here. Files/Photos are not categorized and are listed in order of most recent upload date.  
    2. Photos tab
      1. Photostream: ALL Photos,
      2. Project Albums: sdf
  4. Right-click on the desired File/Photo.
  5. Select the Download option.

    Download a Project File
    1. A pop-up will appear, signaling that the download has started. The pop-up will list the name of the File/Photo and will disappear once the download has finished.
