Create a Custom Calendar

Add a custom Calendar to ConstructionOnline™ to organize events and tasks outside of a specific project 

BACKGROUND

Custom Calendars are calendars that are not associated with a project. They are often used to easily organize birthdays, holidays, personal calendars, and other groups of tasks that are not limited to a single project.

HOW TO CREATE A CUSTOM CALENDAR

  1. From the Company Calendar, select the gray 3-dot Action Menu and choose the "Show/Hide Calendars" option from the dropdown.

  2. Select the plus (+) sign next to Custom Calendar.
    1. This will open the Create Custom Calendar modal.

  3. Name your calendar and select additional options such as:
    1. Assigned Resources: Contacts that will be able to view and edit any events on this calendar.
    2. Related Resources: Contacts that will be able to view any events on this calendar.
    3. Calendar Color: The color that calendar events will display as on your ConstructionOnline calendar.
    4. Integration Options: Choose whether events associated with this calendar will automatically sync with your Google or Outlook calendars.
  4. Click the blue "Save" button. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Subscription Level: The Calendar feature is available on all active ConstructionOnline subscriptions. 
  • PermissionsAdmin Users and Company Users with "Can Create, Edit, and Delete" permissions for the Calendar can create custom Calendars. 
  • CO™ Mobile App: The Calendar feature is available via the mobile app for viewing and adding events. Creating custom Calendars, however, requires browser access to ConstructionOnline.
