Create a Lead Event

OBJECTIVE

To create a Lead Event in ConstructionOnline.

BACKGROUND

Schedule and document Callbacks and Meetings with your Leads using Lead Events. Lead Events are stored separate from other company events, allowing your Sales Reps the ability to focus on what is most important to them – closing deals and building your company’s success.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Lead Events are stored independently in Lead Tracking, but are also visible on the Company Calendar.
  • Lead Events do not have automatic notifications associated with them – set Reminders to receive notifications of Lead Events.

STEPS TO ADD A NEW LEAD EVENT

A: From the Lead Pipeline:

  1. Navigate to Lead Tracking via the Left Sidebar
    1. This will open the Lead Pipeline category
  2. Right-click on the desired Lead 
  3. Select Add Lead Event
     
    1. This will open the Lead Event Details window
  4. Enter Lead Event Details:
    1. Details: Select the Lead, Event Type, Date/Time, enter Event Notes, Assign Resources, & select an Event Color
    2. Attachments: Upload or drag & drop any files pertinent to the Lead Event
    3. Reminders: Create a Reminder for the Lead Event (Recommended)
  5. Click Save

      B. From the Lead Calendar:

      1. Navigate to Lead Tracking via the Left Sidebar
      2. Select the Lead Calendar category
      3. Click the green +Add Lead Event button 
         
        1. This will open the Lead Event Details window
      4. Enter Lead Event Details:
        1. Details: Select the Lead, Event Type, Date/Time, enter Event Notes, Assign Resources, & select an Event Color
        2. Attachments: Upload or drag & drop any files pertinent to the Lead Event
        3. Reminders: Create a Reminder for the Lead Event (Recommended)
      5. Click Save
