Revert a Change Order

Dynamic Change Order Management allows flexible documentation of all changes made to a construction project's scope of work at any time during the job's lifespan.

OBJECTIVE

To change a previously entered response (Approved or Rejected) on a Change Order, putting the Change Order in a "Pending" status

BACKGROUND

In the fast-paced construction industry, the ability to control Change Orders is critical.  ConstructionOnline™ provides absolute clarity for construction clients by allowing them to view Change Orders online, enter a response of Approved or Rejected, and even submit their electronic signature. For instances when a documented response of Approved or Rejected may need to be reversed, ConstructionOnline™ offers an option to "Revert to Pending" on Change Orders.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Company Users assigned to the Project must have "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" Permissions for Change Orders to be access the "Revert to Pending" option
  • Option to "Revert to Pending" is only available for Change Orders which have been Approved or Rejected
  • Reverted Change Orders and associated pricing data will no longer be included in calculations for the Project Estimate or the Added Cost & Time Summary
