Manage Column Order & Visibility for Insurance & Certificates

BACKGROUND 

Staying on top of crucial credentials like Insurance Policies, Licenses, Bonds, and Certifications is vital for any construction business. Each credential type comes with its own unique information and expiration dates, making effective management a significant challenge. 

ConstructionOnline addresses this by providing users with detailed control over how these credentials are displayed. This means you can customize the order and visibility of columns within each credential's dynamic table, ensuring you always see the most relevant information for your projects and workflows. Personalizing the view not only streamlines data access but also helps prevent information overload, ultimately boosting efficiency and overall project visibility. 

HOW TO MANAGE COLUMN ORDER & VISIBILITY OF CREDENTIALS 

1. Access the "Team Management" tab through the Left Sidebar or the Company Selector in the Top Navigation Bar. 
2. Select the desired option under the "Insurance & Certificates" section. 
   1. This will open the credential type's dynamic table (e.g., Insurance Policies, Licenses, Bonds, or Certifications). 
3. Rearrange the table by right-clicking on any column header in the dynamic table and selecting the "Show / Hide Columns" option. 
4. Choose which columns will show in the table and in what order with the following actions -
   1. Show/Hide Columns: Mark the checkbox next to the columns you want to be visible. Unmark checkboxes next to the columns you want to remove from view. 
      1. All columns are shown by default. However, if you've made changes to the column visibility and would like to show all columns again, click the "Select All" checkbox. 
   2. Order Columns: Customize the order in which columns appear by clicking and dragging column rows in the list to establish the way they appear on dynamic tables in List and Group By Views.
   3. Lock Columns: To keep important columns visible while scrolling horizontally, lock columns by hovering over the desired column name and clicking the blue "Lock Column" text or the lock icon. 
      1. Upon locking a column, the column will move above the dotted line at the top of the "Column Order & Visibility" window. This differentiates columns that have been locked and signifies that they will appear at the beginning of the table. 
      2. Unlock columns by hovering over the locked column name and hitting the blue "Unlock Column" text or the lock icon. 
   4. Restore Defaults: Restore default settings for Column Order & Visibility by clicking the blue "Restore Defaults" text at the bottom of the "Column Order & Visibility" window. This will make all columns visible and return column order to the original arrangement. 
5. Click the blue "Save" button to apply the changes to the Column Order & Visibility of that credential type. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Subscription Level: ConstructionOnline's OnGuard Insurance Tracking feature offers different levels of coverage based on the subscription tier:
  • Team subscriptions include tracking for insurance policies.
  • Business and Enterprise subscriptions include tracking for insurance policies, licenses, bonds, and certificates.  
  • For all other ConstructionOnline plans, the full Insurance Tracking feature (including policies, licenses, bonds, and certificates) is available as a Per-Company Add-On.
• Permissions: Admin Users and Company Users with "Can View" and "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" permissions for Certificate Tracking are able to manage the view of their credentials. 
• CO™ Mobile App: Currently, the OnGuard Insurance Tracking feature is exclusively available through browser access to ConstructionOnline.
