Create New To Dos in the ConstructionOnline™ Mobile App
Quickly add To Dos on the go with CO Mobile
BACKGROUND
To Dos in ConstructionOnline provide a simple way to track tasks, assign responsibilities, and document progress across projects. The mobile app allows you to create To Dos directly from the field, ensuring that important tasks are captured in real time. Whether you're adding a company-wide item or a project-specific task, creating a new To Do takes just a few taps.
HOW TO CREATE A NEW TO DO IN CONSTRUCTIONONLINE MOBILE
- Open the ConstructionOnline Mobile App on your device.
- Click To Dos under the Project Tracking section in your Tools dashboard.
- This will open a To Do list that will display all To Dos across your Company Account/Projects.
- Press the orange (+) button in the bottom right corner of your screen.

- Select "Company To Dos" to create a company-wide task, or choose the desired Project for the To Do from your Projects list.
- This will open the "New To Do" window where you can enter To Do Details, including:
- Details:
- Subject: Provide a brief description or name for the task. This field is required.
- Due Date: Select a deadline for the To Do.
- Notes / Description: Add any relevant context or instructions, including timestamps if needed.
- Assigned Resource(s): Choose the Contact(s) responsible for completing the task.
- Related Contact(s): Link any Contact(s) that should be made aware of the task.
- Type: Choose
- Category: Classify the To Do for better organization.
- Trade: Specify the trade involved, if applicable.
- Cost Code: Assign a cost code to support financial tracking.
- Cost Impact: Indicate whether the task affects project cost.
- Tags: Add custom tags for easier filtering and reporting.
- Stage: Select the current stage of the task.
- Priority: Mark the urgency level.
- Percentage Complete: Indicate the progress of the task.
- Make Private: Toggle to restrict visibility to the task creator and associated Contacts.
- Subtasks: Add smaller action items linked to the main task.
- Files & Photos: Upload any attachments pertinent to the To Do.
- Details:
- This will open the "New To Do" window where you can enter To Do Details, including:
- Click the orange "Create" button to add the To Do.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Subscription Level: ConstructionOnline's To Dos feature is available for all companies with active ConstructionOnline subscriptions.
- Permissions:
- Company Users must have "Can Create, Edit, & Delete" To Do Lists permissions.
- ClientLink™ / TeamLink™ Users must have To Dos permissions enabled to view or edit To Dos, with actions determined by their assigned To Dos role.
