      Connecting to PlanSwift

      OBJECTIVE

      Add a plugin to PlanSwift that will create ConstructionOnline Estimates directly from a Planswift Takeoff

      BACKGROUND

      PlanSwift is one of the most popular digital takeoff software packages available on the market today.  With PlanSwift, you can generate takeoffs, or material lists, directly from a .pdf set of plans and send that list directly to ConstructionOnline - now at the click of button!

      THINGS TO CONSIDER

      • PlanSwift must be installed on the same computer as Socket
      • PlanSwift items must have a Division assigned
      • You must have an internet connection - This is a Direct Connection!

      STEPS TO CREATE A PLANSWIFT PLUGIN

      1. Open Socket and log in to your account.
      2. Click on the File Menu.
      3. Select "Install PlanSwift Plugin".
      4. Select Yes to prompt asking for permission to make changes on the computer.
      5. Restart PlanSwift to find the new button in the Estimating tab.
