Set the confirmation status of a warranty issue's service appointment through ConstructionOnline's Client Portal
BACKGROUND
ConstructionOnline™ empowers ClientLink Users with direct oversight of warranty issues and scheduled service appointments. Leveraging the Warranty Tracking feature, clients can actively manage the service process by conveniently reviewing proposed appointment windows, ensuring they align with their availability and expectations. The ability to accept or reject the service appointment from directly within the portal fosters clear communication and collaboration with the contractor.
STEPS TO SETTING AN APPOINTMENT'S CONFIRMATION STATUS
- From within the Portal, navigate to the "Warranty Tracking" tab of the desired Project.
- If the "Warranty Tracking" tab isn't available in your ClientLink Portal, contact your builder to inquire about access.
- Hover over the tab and select "Appointments."
- Click on the desired Appointment from within the "Appointments" section.
- This will open up the associated warranty issue's extension blade on the right side of your screen where you can review the appointment details and choose to -
- Accept:
- Select the green "This arrival window works for me" button.
- You will be asked to confirm your decision by hitting the green "Yes, confirm it" button.
- Select the green "This arrival window works for me" button.
- Reject:
- Tap the red "This arrival window doesn't work for me" button.
- Reject the appointment window by choosing the red "Yes, reject it" button.
- Enter any notes, including suggestions of another date or time that may work better and hit the blue "Continue" button.
You are prompted a second time because once you have accepted or rejected, you will no longer be able to change the confirmation status of the appointment.- If you have made a mistake or would like to change your decision, contact your builder to modify the appointment's confirmation status.
- Tap the red "This arrival window doesn't work for me" button.
- Accept:
- Reflecting the choice made above, the appointment window will show as accepted or rejected.
- You will receive a confirmation email verifying your decision.
- Depending on their notification settings, your builder might also be sent a notification regarding your confirmation or rejection of the appointment.
- Click the grey "Close" button to exit the extension blade.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Permissions: ClientLink permissions are managed by ConstructionOnline Company Users. If you have questions about what is/is not accessible through your Client Portal, contact your builder directly.
- CO™ Mobile App: Currently, Warranty Tracking features are exclusively available via browser access to ConstructionOnline.
