Update an Opportunity

Edit an existing opportunity in your ConstructionOnline company account

put https://api.constructiononline.com/api/Opportunities?id={id}

This endpoint allows users to edit an existing opportunity within their ConstructionOnline company account. Users can update many of the opportunity's existing properties, such as its scope of work, address, or initial value. To update an opportunity, users must know the unique numerical ID assigned to the opportunity. The opportunity's ID is stored in the opportunity property 'ID'. Users should enter the properties to be updated in the payload/body of the request. Only the properties specified in the payload will be updated. The other properties will remain as is.

Responses

green 200: Success

A successful request will return a 200 response with a record of the edited opportunity in the body.

red 404: Error

The server was not able to locate the resource specified in the request. The ID may have been entered incorrectly or an opportunity with the entered ID does not exist.

red 429: Error

The user has surpassed the request rate limit for the hour, day, week, or month.

 red 500: Error

There was an internal server error and the server was unable to complete the request.
