Update a change order item

Edit an existing change order item in your ConstructionOnline company account

put https://api.constructiononline.com/api/ChangeOrderItems/{id}?coItemInfo={coItemInfo}

This endpoint allows users to edit an existing change order item within a change order in their ConstructionOnline company account. To update a change order item, users must know the unique numerical ID assigned to the item. The change order item's ID is stored in the property 'ID'. Users should enter the properties to be updated in the URL of the request—specifically, in the "coItemInfo" request parameter. Only the properties specified in the parameter will be updated; the other properties will remain as is.

Requests

id: integer

  • Unique identifier for the change order item.

coItemInfo: JSON

  • Updated properties for the change order item.
  • Allowed properties: NAME, DESCRIPTION, LINE_ITEM_MARKUP, RATE, RATE_QTY, LINE_ITEM_MARKUP_TYPE, ADJUSTMENT, COST_CODE_ID, DOLLAR_MARKUP, INVOICED_AMOUNTS, ACTUAL, QB_INVOICED, QB_ACTUAL, TAX_PERCENT, SALES_TAX, COST_ESTIMATE, SUBCATIDS
