Delete an estimate item

Remove an estimate item from an estimate in your ConstructionOnline company account

 put https://api.constructiononline.com/api/EstimateItems?itemID={itemID}&itemInfo={itemInfo}&action=DELETE

This endpoint allows users to remove an estimate item from an estimate they have access to in ConstructionOnline. To delete an estimate item, users must know the unique numerical ID assigned to the item.

❗ Important: As a safety precaution to avoid accidental deletion, users must enter the ID for the estimate item in both the parameters 'itemID' and 'itemInfo'.

Requests

REQUIRED PARAMETERS

itemID: integer

  • Unique identifier for the estimate item

itemInfo: JSON 

  • Must contain the ID of the estimate itemin the form of a key-value pair
  • Example: itemInfo={"itemID" : "1234556"}

Responses

green 200: Success

A successful request will return an empty 200 response, signaling that the estimate item was successfully removed.

red 404: Error

The server was not able to locate the resource specified in the request. The ID may have been entered incorrectly or an estimate item with the entered ID does not exist.

red 429: Error

The user has surpassed the request rate limit for the hour, day, week, or month.

 red 500: Error

There was an internal server error and the server was unable to complete the request.
