Delete a Change Order

Remove a change order from a project in your ConstructionOnline company account

 put https://api.constructiononline.com/api/ChangeOrders/{id}?coInfo={coInfo}&action=DELETE

This endpoint allows users to remove an existing change order from a project they have access to in ConstructionOnline. To delete a change order, users must know the unique numerical ID assigned to the change order. Please note—deleting an change order will delete any items within the change order itself. 

❗ Important:  As a safety precaution to avoid accidental deletion, users must enter the ID for the change order in both the parameters 'id' and 'coInfo'.

Requests

REQUIRED PARAMETERS

id: integer

  • Unique identifier for the change order.

coInfo: JSON 

  • Must contain the ID of the change order in the form of a key-value pair
  • Example: coInfo={"ID" : "1234567"}

Responses

green 200: Success

A successful request will return an empty 200 response, signaling that the change order was successfully removed.

red 404: Error

The server was not able to locate the resource specified in the request. The ID may have been entered incorrectly or a change order with the entered ID does not exist.

red 429: Error

The user has surpassed the request rate limit for the hour, day, week, or month.

 red 500: Error

There was an internal server error and the server was unable to complete the request.
