Create a Schedule From a Template

OBJECTIVE

To create a Schedule from a Template in ConstructionOnline.

BACKGROUND

For users who have several projects that encompass a similar scope of work, it is often easier to use a schedule template rather than creating a new schedule from scratch for each project. ConstructionOnline allows users to do just that, in turn saving them valuable time.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • While a schedule template duplicates the schedule tasks, start and end dates will have to be edited for each project the template is used for.

STEPS TO CREATE A SCHEDULE TEMPLATE

  1. Navigate to the desired Project via the Left Sidebar
  2. Select the Calendars & Schedules tab
  3. Choose the Scheduling category
  4. Click the Choose Template button in the Create from a Template pane
    1. This will open the Create Schedule from Template window
  5. Select the desired Template, name the Schedule, assign Cost Codes, and choose what template elements to include in the new Schedule
  6. Click Save
